KupTo Privacy Policy

KupTo is a shared shopping list and meal planning app. We respect user privacy and process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate the app.

1. What data we process

account data such as email address and display name,
user-generated content including shopping items, notes, and shopping lists,
voice notes recorded by the user,
push tokens required to deliver shared-list notifications.

2. How we use data

to enable sign-in and account access,
to synchronize shared shopping lists between household members,
to store text notes and voice notes attached to products,
to send notifications related to shared-list activity,
to support meal planning and recipe-related features.

3. Microphone and speech recognition

The app may request access to the microphone and speech recognition only for voice item entry and voice note recording. These permissions are optional and controlled by the user.

4. Push notifications

KupTo may use push notifications to inform users about shared list activity, such as newly added items or in-store collaboration events.

5. Sharing of data

We do not sell user data. Data is processed only as required to provide the app’s core functionality.
